Concerts Manager*

Overview

Responsible for all arrangements for concerts and choir rehearsals

Job description

  • Book venues for concerts in liaison with Chair and MD
  • Book venue for rehearsals and associated arrangements in liaison with Chair and MD
  • Liaise with concert staging provider, stage manager and MD
  • Obtain bar licence, arrange for First Aider and any other requirements
  • Co-ordinate contracts for professional musicians
  • Issue invitations to EG Town Mayor and any other VIP guests; reserve their parking and concert seats
  • Oversee the sale of choir accessories – issue of concert scarves, ties and folders
