EAST GRINSTEAD CHORAL SOCIETY WELCOMES YOU
We are a non-auditioned choir, sharing the joy of performing inspirational music

WHO WE ARE
East Grinstead Choral Society is a choir of non-auditioned singers who love coming together to make music and learn new skills.
Founded nearly 70 years ago, EGCS has been inspiring people in the community to sing for many generations.
We love performing all types of music, from Handel to Hammerstein.
We are led by our professional Music Director, Laurence Williams, who trains and inspires choirs across the UK.
We invite you to explore our website and to join us in rehearsal on Thursday evenings at St. Swithun's Church, East Grinstead.
WAYS WE HELP
New friends, developing skills
LEARNING TO SING
Singing is a joy, and everyone at East Grinstead Choral Society knows the uplifting feeling experienced when all four parts of the choir sing together.
Singing is also fantastic for your health and well-being. It lifts your mood, can help you relax and it can boost your confidence

READING MUSIC
We don't expect people to be able to read music when they join. But we are here to help you develop a new skill, or perhaps improve on your current level.
Singing in our choir we will introduce you to note reading and give you the skills to become a confident reader of music

"Since singing is so good a thing, I wish all would learn to sing"
William Byrd
