AGM chair notice

Dear Singer,

The AGM is 6 weeks away, and I am delighted to report that many team members have offered to continue next year. Thank you! There are a few vacancies for keen members to become involved next season and we welcome new faces.

All Trustees stand down at the AGM and are eligible for re-election. Members are welcome to express interest in any Trustee role (see Gold Card). If more than one nomination is received for any Trustee post, an election will be held.

Other roles listed on the teams chart and Gold Card are not elected but are appointed by the Trustees.

At this stage informal chats are welcomed; nominations will come later. If you would like to discuss filling a vacancy or helping in any other capacity, please return the form to the Chairman as soon as possible, at the very latest by 17^th June.

Vacancy	Role
Vice Chairman (Trustee)	To deputise in the Chair’s absence. The current Vice Chair co-ordinates the concert team; however the two roles could be separated
Stage Manager (handover period until December)	To co-ordinate staging, lighting and seating for concerts; make site visits
Publicity Officer (vacancy or job-share opportunity)	To take over (or job-share) placing advertisements, creating displays and helping to recruit new members
Social Team	Additional team member(s) to help the Social Secretaries run social events and concert catering
